Christmas at Waddesdon
Thursday 5 December 2024
Waddesdon Manor in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire was built by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild in 1870s. It is managed by the Rothschild Foundation on behalf of the National Trust and is home to a fine collection of paintings, sculpture and decorative arts.
At Christmas, the House will be transformed for a magical festive experience, inspired by the tale of Sleeping Beauty. There will be the Christmas Market, and Outdoor light trails and illuminations transforming the grounds into a kaleidoscope of colour, lights and music.
We plan to arrive about 12.00pm, to have time for lunch at a choice of eateries. Our group has timed entry to the House at 1.50pm which you can explore at your leisure. There is time to enjoy the Christmas market stalls and Food Village and then at dusk, view the illuminations. We will depart at 5.30pm.
No refreshments are included in this visit.
