MAXIMUS, The Arts Society Corinium Hare 

Over the past year, The Arts Society Corinium has been delighted to support a special community art project which will ultimately form part of the Cirencester Hare Trail.

Five local primary schools took part in creative art sessions led by artist Amanda Griffiths and our Grants Administrator, Sarah Storer.  Inspired by a Roman myth, the pupils created their own artworks, which Amanda then used as inspiration for her design of a new hare for the Hare Trail.  We wanted to make sure every pupil’s contribution was celebrated, so we’ve created a series of iMovies showcasing all the wonderful artwork produced during the project.  Click on the image below to view the vidoes.

The new hare will eventually find a permanent home in a public space in Cirencester, where everyone can enjoy it.  We will share an update once its location has received Council approval.
