WELCOME TO THE ARTS SOCIETY CORINIUM
The Arts Society Corinium is a small, friendly society, welcoming new Members and visitors. We do not have a waiting list for membership.
We enjoy talks and visits to learn about the Arts from accredited experts and we fund creative, educational activities in the Arts.
We are part of The Arts Society with a global network of over 380 local Societies, which bring people together through a shared curiosity for the arts.

WHAT WE DO
CHARITABLE WORK
Started in 1973 Young Arts, now Arts in the Community provides exciting opportunities for children and young people to expand their horizons through their involvement in creative arts activities, supported by The Arts Society.
The Arts Society Corinium funds new initiatives to help young people of all ages and abilities develop an interest in the arts.
TALKS
We enjoy a programme of outstanding illustrated talks every month, except in August and December. Topics are diverse and include sculpture, textiles, painting, ceramics, garden design, silver, literature, music, etc. All our speakers are experts in their field and each one delivers inspiring insight into their particular topic.
For our live talks doors open at 6:45pm. Talks start at 7:30pm promptly. Refreshments are available. Talks are free for members and we request for a contribution of £8 from visitors.
VISITS
We also organise visits to sites of cultural and historic interest for Members, often with exclusive access, or expert guides. Our first visit of 2023 will be at the end of March and other destinations are being organised for later this year.
