The Arts Society Corinium is a small, friendly society, welcoming new Members. We do not have a waiting list for membership.

We enjoy talks and visits to learn about the Arts from accredited experts and we fund creative, educational activities in the Arts.

We are part of The Arts Society which has over 350 Societies across the UK which makes us part of a network of some 90,000 individual members worldwide sharing a curiosity for the arts and artistic heritage.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are currently providing videos and talks on-line. The VIDEOS are available for members and non-members to watch at any time.

Talks are free for members. See the TALKS page for details.

Please visit our Facebook page and 'Like' and 'Follow Us' for the latest updates on our activities.

We enjoy a programme of outstanding illustrated talks every month, except in August and December. Topics are diverse and include sculpture, textiles, painting, ceramics, garden design, silver, literature, music, etc. All our speakers are experts in their field and each one delivers inspiring insight into their particular topic.

We organise visits to sites of cultural and historic interest for Members, often with exclusive access, or expert guides.

With our regular talks and visits suspended we have reorganised our programme of lectures by rebooking the lecturer where we can for 2021, and launched a series of You Tube video interviews with some of our lecturers.

For the November talk we made a video recording which was available to Members only for a few days. Hopefully, we will be able to return to live-talks in the new year but in case we can't we will try and record a talk and make it available to Members. Please see the VIDEOS and 2020 TALKS pages for the latest updates.

Once we are able to meet for talks this will be at the Cirencester Baptist Church, Chesterton Lane, Cirencester GL7 1YE. The venue is modern and the room is fully equipped with audio–visual aids and a hearing induction loop.

Car parking is at the front and rear of the Church. Reserved parking spaces for blue badge holders are available at the front of the Church. Off street parking is available. We ask you to respect the marked private parking areas belonging to nearby houses.
